MARY JORDAN, MD
Dr. Mary M. Jordan is a double board-certified general surgeon and critical care physician. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame and went on to complete both medical school and her general surgery residency at the University of South Carolina. After completing her training, she moved to Charlotte, where she co-founded SPMJ with her longtime friend and colleague, Shaun Paulson. Dr. Jordan takes immense pride in providing top-tier care, always placing her patients’ needs and well-being first. She believes that everyone deserves to look and feel their personal best and is passionate about helping individuals embrace their true selves without changing who they are. She is committed to delivering personalized care tailored to each individual’s unique goals and works tirelessly to ensure the highest quality outcomes. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Jordan enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children. She finds joy in gardening and horseback riding, which offer her a peaceful balance to her demanding clinical work.

SHAUN PAULSON, NP
Shaun is a highly experienced nurse practitioner with over 14 years of expertise in the field. She earned her master’s degree from Vanderbilt University and works alongside top surgeons in Charlotte, including her friend and business partner, Dr. Mary M. Jordan. Shaun prioritizes her patients and strives to deliver the best possible outcomes. Her partnership with Dr. Jordan has led them through high-pressure clinical situations and ultimately inspired them to open SPMJ, a boutique aesthetics practice in Charlotte, NC. Born and raised in Charlotte, Shaun is deeply connected to her community. She values the relationship-building opportunities in her work, which often result in remarkable transformations for her patients. She enjoys the procedural aspect of aesthetics and takes pride in administering anti-aging treatments that provide immediate, visible results. Outside of work, Shaun loves spending time with her husband and their 5-year-old twins, gardening, and practicing Pilates.

ALLEGRA MARINO, PA-C
Allegra Marino is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over six years of experience in medicine. Before relocating to Charlotte, she practiced at Reflections Med Spa in Chicago, where she developed a passion for helping patients look and feel like the best version of themselves. Allegra believes that exceptional aesthetic care begins with listening. She takes a holistic, individualized approach to every treatment plan, carefully considering each patient’s unique features, goals, and overall wellbeing. Her philosophy is centered on enhancing natural beauty, not changing it, by delivering subtle, refreshed results that inspire confidence. Above all, Allegra prioritizes patient safety, education, and trust. Meg Perry proudly serves as our unofficial office cheerleader! A wife and loving mom of two teenagers at Myers Park High School, she’s a natural at keeping everyone organized, supported, and smiling. Whether she’s answering questions, solving problems, or cheering on the team from behind the scenes, Meg is always just a phone call away. Outside of work, she loves playing tennis, spending time with her dog, enjoying a great cup of coffee, and laughing with family and friends. Her caring nature and positive attitude help make our practice feel like family.
